- Andrew Burnes Basically, they're your rights when purchasing a game, and will be adhered to by every subsequent Stardock release: “As an industry, we need to begin setting some basic, common sense standards that reward PC gamers for purchasing our games,” stated Brad Wardell, president and CEO of Stardock Corporation. “The console market effectively already has something like this in that its games have to go through the platform maker such as Nintendo, Microsoft, or Sony. But on the PC, publishers can release games that are scarcely completed, poorly supported, and full of intrusive copy protection and then be stuck on it.”

Microsoft sells 17.7 million Xbox 360s since launch Sales of Microsoft’s Xbox 360 have topped 17.7 million worldwide, according to sales figures from the company. “Microsoft is proud of the contributions Xbox 360 is making to the gaming industry, and looks forward to an even more successful 2008,” the company said. Meanwhile, Bill Gates, in an interview with the BBC, said Microsoft is determined to make the Xbox 360 the “most reliable video game box out there.” “Well, we certainly had to apologize to our uses about a number of boxes that had to be replaced,” Gates said. “We've got incredible reliability on the new work we've done.”
